Description:
This project overhauled 3 aging and under performing athletics fields on a 10 acre site for the Kent School District. 15,000 cubic yards (12″ depth) of existing grass and soil was stripped/hauled off and proper sub grade was established. 16,000 linear feet of new sub drainage and new irrigation was installed for all fields. 9,000 cubic yards (8″ depth) of base sand and 4,500 cubic yards (4″ depth) of a top sand/compost blend was installed and finish grade established. Large roll sod was installed on the football field while the baseball and softball fields were drill/brillion seeded. The infields received new conditioned infield mix, bases and backstops. We installed a new long jump rubberized runway, goal posts, and the track received a new cinder layer. We also provided the first year of maintenance.
