We pride ourselves on our exceptional team with 44 years in the industry. For much of our team, most of that experience is with us at Pacific Earth Works.

Camie Ascher
Owner & President
Of all the things Camie can build, the most important is relationships. As President, she enjoys a hands-on approach with everyone she works with, including general contractors, landscape architects, project engineers, subcontractors and most importantly her employees. She uses her years of experience to make our large scale landscape construction projects happen efficiently and to everyone’s satisfaction.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, sitting by the water and supporting her rambunctious family in all their endeavors. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration and Management with Emphasis on Entrepreneurship from Washington State University. GO COUGS!!

Aaron Ascher
Operations Manager
Aaron is the operations manager at Pacific Earth Works WBE and provides oversight in all staffing, construction activities, as well as business development and operations. He also manages projects from early budgeting, estimation, proposal generation, and contract negotiation to full blown project management of jobs underway. Aaron has 27 years of landscape construction experience and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Washington State University. He owned his own landscape construction company for 10 years and has experience in all facets of landscape construction including athletic field construction which is his true passion.

Mike Brandvold
Senior Project Manager / Senior Estimator
Mike has worked in the landscape construction and maintenance industry for over 40 years, getting his start as a laborer in the field. He counts himself fortunate to have been part of many fantastic projects, from simple to complex and small to very large, and to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from great people along the way. His education and training has helped him develop awareness to the subtleties of his work, and has helped him to continue to hone his attention to detail. He enjoys this industry and appreciates the chance to be part of implementing great visions to create lasting transformations. During his off-hours when not spending time with his family, he is a busy working musician, outdoor enthusiast and cyclist.
Ell Roy Oster
Superintendent
In his 45 years of construction experience, Ell Roy has been everything from superintendent, equipment manager, equipment dispatch, trucking dispatch, truck driver, equipment operator, shop superintendent to lead safety personnel. His experience in field work, green roofs, commercial and residential construction make him an asset to our team. As a certified Landscape Techinician, he specializes in irrigation, drainage and water lines. When he has time to relax, he focuses on family, God, and getting away to the cabin.

Larisa Tjepkema
Estimating & Project Management Coordinator
Larisa has over 20 years of experience in the construction field. Working in the office of various companies has given her a diverse background in all things construction. At Pacific Earth Works, she is on the estimating and project management team, however she frequently assists with many other tasks, Larisa also gets her creative juices flowing for marketing material, or sometimes even provides IT support. When she’s not in the office, you can usually find Larisa riding horses, teaching dressage, volunteering with Snohomish County 4H, or enjoying other activities such as kayaking, hiking, or yoga.

Shondell Kelley
Estimating Assistant
Shondell has spent decades studying Native Flora and Fauna, Ethnobotany, Herbalism, Environmental Horticulture, Organic Gardening, Permaculture, Composting, Food Production and Preservation to name just a few of the avenues she’s wandered down. She’s proud to have earned a degree in Horticulture and is a Certified Professional Horticulturist. She has certifications in Environmental Education and Permaculture Design. She is a Master Gardener, Master Composter, and PlantAmnesty Master Pruner. At Pacific Earth Works she brings her eclectic knowledge base and whimsical approach to assisting the team with the behind the scenes effort that makes the magic happen.

Augustine J. Pelos
Estimator & Project Coordinator
With his combination of five years’ experience in framing, roofing, electrical and plumbing, three years’ experience as an Operations and Logistics manager, and five years of estimating and project coordination in the landscape field with Pacific Earth Works, Augustine is the newest estimator trained within the Pacific Earth Works team. He works closely with the project managers to bid, coordinate, and manage projects he acquires for the team.
As a husband and father of two, a lot of his free time is spent with his family. He also enjoys longboarding in the summers, snowboarding in the winters, and building computers year-round.
Brian Rogness
Superintendent
Brian has worked in the landscape construction field for over thirty years. As a Superintendent he truly enjoys bringing the landscape design/ vision of clients to life. Brian has been fortunate to work on both large residential and commercial projects. Whether using a barge, crane, or truck to bring in materials he gets the job done. In Brian’s spare time he enjoys all the Pacific Northwest has to offer especially the outdoors with his wife, son, and dog. He is also an ardent Sounders fan.
Dylan Peterson
Superintendent
Dylan has been in the landscape industry for over 12 years. Starting out in residential maintenance. Dylan worked his way up to project manager for residential new construction, and renovation. Dylan has experience in handling everything from estimating, completion of project, and billing. Eventually moving into the commercial construction industry he’s found a great home at PEW. Dylan really enjoys seeing projects come together from start to finish and coordinating with field teams from GCs, architects, and his own crew. Specializing in irrigation Dylan holds certifications such as Rain Bird controller operator, and 2 wire decoder technician. When Dylan’s not working, he enjoys snowmobiling, working on his truck and spending time with family.
Javier Gutierrez
Superintendent
Javier has been in the landscaping industry for 20 years, in his 20 year carrier he has worked on many projects including some very large ones here at PEW. Prior to joining the PEW team Javier had experience in various landscape activities such as maintenance and also specialized in irrigation including troubleshooting irrigation controllers, wiring and repairs. Javier has experience in both residential and commercial landscape construction and really enjoys the feeling he gets seeing a job from start to finish, and takes great pride in his work. When Javier isn’t working he enjoys working in his yard and spending time with his friends and family, especially when it involves going out to eat.

Shannon Torres
Human Resources & Project Assistant
Shannon joined Pacific Earth Works WBE team in August 2019 she has over 25 years of office experience in a variety of construction trades. Shannon enjoys the fast pace of construction management, and feels lucky to work for a WBE. The advances in the landscape industry right now are exciting and great to be a part of. Shannon has a background and education in Human Services. After 7 years she found her way back to the construction industry. Shannon loves nature and likes to get lost on a back road when she can. She has three children and has been married for 26 years.
