“Mid-Block” area of Main Building. These planting beds spanned across both on-grade and on-structure conditions requiring multiple soil mix types within each bed. Beds included decorative gabion basket walls, deep soils, irrigation and planting.

Scope included structural soil cells (left foreground), stabilized crushed gravel surfacing, decorative gravel surfacing band around firepit, multiple blends of 4′ depth import soils over both on-grade and on-structure conditions, large native trees, and extensive planting.

Description: Multi-level landscape installation on grade and on structure at two large new buildings. Scope included extensive geosynthetic and gravel drainage layers under all on-structure soils, drainage piping systems, soil prep and multiple blends of deep import soils, structural soil cells, extensive organic soil amendments, grading, edging, irrigation systems, loose-laid decorative gravel surfacing, bound crushed gravel surfacing, stabilized crushed gravel surfacing system, building perimeter gravel drain rock maintenance strips with edging, decorative small rip-rap ballast surfacing, decorative gabion basket walls, sedum plugs and cuttings extensive green roofs, sod lawn, large mature specimen trees, extensive planting, mulch.
