MONROE, WA (2/12/18) —

Pacific Earth Works, Inc. was recently recognized with four 2018 Environmental Landscape Awards by the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP) at its annual state convention.

Recognized with both a Grand Award in the Commercial Construction category and with the prestigious Judges Award, was the ‘Lincoln Square Expansion’ (Project Manager – Mike Brandvold, Superintendent – Juan Cruz).   This project included ground level landscaping around a new 2-tower mixed use building topped off with more than 24,000 square feet of extensive and intensive green roofs.

Receiving the Grand Award was the ‘Troy Block’ project in the Commercial Construction category (Project Manager – Mike Brandvold, Superintendent – Ell Roy Oster).  This impressive project had 7,000 square feet of sand-set and pedestal-set concrete pavers. The team also installed landscaping around the new 2-tower office building, and 17,000 square feet of intensive and extensive green roofs.

Receiving the Award of Merit was the ‘BlueRidge Residence’ project in the Residential Single-Family Construction category (Project Manager – Chris Dariotis, Superintendent – Robert Blanquet).  This was a residential yard remodel on a tight sloping lot. Pacific Earth Works worked hard with other contractors and local Landscape Architect Peg Ferm (Monroe, WA) and the result was beautiful.
