Owner: King County WTD
Wetland mitigation: soil preparation, pathways, planting (19,000+), mulching, seeding, irrigation work and site maintenance.


2007 Grand Award for Residential
Fauntleroy Waterfront Landscape Architect: Maple Leaf Design
Large, steep sloped landscape renovation including irrigation, drainage, stone stairs, outcroppings and paths, stone retaining walls, lawns,
plantings, and a substantial water feature.

2006 Grand Award for
Wetland Construction
Basin 26 Project Landscape Architect: CH2M Hill
Owner: City of Mercer Island Creation of a drainage basin on Mercer Island. Clearing and grading, large CB’s and concrete pipe to 36”, significant storm diversion, erosion
control, extensive planting and seeding, approximately 1,500 tons of stream rock, large boulders, 10 large log weirs, root wads, stream logs, sanding mix. etc.
There was only one point of entry for this 400’ channel.

Public Works
Roosevelt High School Project General Contractor: Hoffman Construction Co.
Architect: Berger Partnership
Beautiful rehabilitation and remodel of historic Seattle school with special care work around historic trees including a Black Walnut tree from President
Roosevelt’s Oyster Bay Estate in New York. Landscape scope: Extensive planting, sod and seeded lawns, underground irrigation system, and a large concrete unit paver courtyard
were installed.

Kingston Waterfront Residence Landscape Architect: Leuner Landscape Design, Inc. Extensive transplanting, soil prep, irrigation, drainage, walls, bluestone and
gravel paths, water features, artificial turf putting green, pavers, rock placement, lighting, some carpentry and plants, plants, plants. Challenges on this project were
steep slopes on water side bluff with very limited access. The existing home had to be cut out in the middle to provide access to the backyard for equipment and materials.

Firm: Hoffman Construction Co.
Landscape Architect: SiteWorkshop LLC Extensive Hardscape includes new city sidewalks, flagstone pathways, granite
cobble (both dry set and mortar set), stone steps and patios, beautiful granite art bases, pre-cast concrete benches and bollards, placement of granite boulders, integral
colored concrete, etc. The landscape and irrigation plan includes street trees along Seattle's scenic Montlake Blvd. Extensive berming to integrate the new addition into the
site. The cherished "Glade" area behind the hospital is being refurbished. The new plant palette includes large Port Orford Cedar, Western Hemlock, Himalayan Birch, Cornelian
Cherry, Persian Parrotia, etc. An extensive selection of ornamental shrubs, native plants and perennials will augment the planting. This project was completed in September of
2004.

Owner: Seattle Public School District #1 Project included five underdrained, irrigated sports fields as part of the athletic fields upgrades at Denny Middle and Sealth High
Schools in West Seattle.

extensive remodel of a beautiful home with a breath taking view. Re-grading, Pennsylvania field stone retaining walls ( large and small), dry set and mortar set Bluestone
stairs and walls, timber construction, spa installation, stone stairs, custom stainless steel and Ipe' fence, low voltage lighting, beautiful planting plan in a small space
includes work on top of a new garage. Completion was June 1, 2003

Architect: Bruce Dees & Associates
Owner: City of Federal Way We began working on this 84-acre Federal Way park in May 1998. The park includes four soccer fields as well as a ball field complex with four
fields. Almost half of the park will be preserved as woodlands and enhanced wetlands. We were responsible for the irrigation, under-field drainage, planting and wetland
mitigation on this project.
